Eldon Taylor, one of the world's foremost experts on subliminal information processing, has more than twenty-five years of experience in the field. He is the author of five books dealing with the subject of subliminal communication and the inventor of the patented technology known as Whole Brain(R) InnerTalk(R) or the "Taylor Method." He is also the author of more than three hundred personal empowerment audio and video programs and many other books and published articles.
Eldon Taylor has appeared on, or been featured in The Rosanne Barr Show, Omni Audio Experience, Mind Body Spirit, Spinal Network, New Age Retailer, ABH Journal, Attain Magazine, Evolving Times, Journal of Alternative & Complimentary Medicine, New Frontier, Adventures in Education, Out of Context, and many other media publications. He co-hosted the "Good News Hour," a live call-in radio show and has presented seminars and workshops in the U.S., Mexico, Germany, China, the U.K., and Malaysia.
Eldon was a practicing criminalist specializing in forensic hypnosis and detection of deception when he conducted the first-ever double-blind study within a prison system using subliminal technology for rehabilitation. Since that study he has devoted his life's work to helping others help themselves.
Today Eldon is director of Progressive Awareness Research, Inc., directing the research and development of InnerTalk and other technologies designed to assist and facilitate all in the personal empowerment quest. His research and that of others on Eldon's programs have repeatedly demonstrated the power of the mind to influence the whole person. Studies ranging from test anxiety and ADHD to depression and decision making have repeatedly shown that Eldon's approach, not just his technology, works.
The cornerstones to Eldon's work are quite simple and have remained constant over the 20 years that he has publicly shared them. He refers to them as the four corners of success: forgiveness, gratitude, self-responsibility and service. In his latest book, Choices and Illusions, Eldon shares his own story as he integrates it with his work and research, casting a bright light on how and why we have self-imposed limitations and false self-images and demonstrating how we can retrain the mind and leave negative self-sabotaging, self-limiting patterns in the past. Moreover, he shows us how we can change our lives today! Indeed, he makes the process of change so simple and clear that his readers and listeners can enjoy happier, healthier lives almost immediately--without having to buy anything.
Eldon believes that self-empowerment is a journey, not a rags-to-riches scheme. In fact, his business operates on a business model different from most. He offers many free products designed just to help others. His website offers so much content absolutely free that one can spend days there. He is upfront and straightforward about the spiritual content on his programs and in his work. He is convinced that the spiritual element is critical to happiness, health, and longevity, and his research and data conclusively support those beliefs. His own spiritual experiences have convinced him of their reality.
Eldon earned his doctoral distinction in clinical psychology from St. John's University in Louisiana and his doctorate in pastoral psychology from the University of Metaphysics in California. He is an ordained nondenominational minister and a Fellow in the American Psychotherapy Association. Listed in more than a dozen Who's Who publications, he was awarded the 2005 International Peace Prize by the United Cultural Convention for his "outstanding personal achievements to the good of society as a whole."
Eldon resides with his wife and their two sons in the countryside of Washington State.
